OCN offers annual and monthly training sessions that assist food service personnel with operating successful Child Nutrition Programs (CNP).\u00a0The Training Division coordinates, plans and organizes structured training sessions that reinforce the responsibilities and regulations that are mandated by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and MS Department of Education (State Board Policies). Organizations that participate in our Child Nutrition Programs are trained by qualified staff through regional and local training sessions. These sessions are designed to ensure that\u00a0professional competencies, expectations and\u00a0compliance with federal, state and local\u00a0laws are being met.\u00a0Further, it is our job to ensure that all participating organizations are offering healthy and nutritious meals to children and qualified adults.
