{"id":6,"date":"2023-08-02T16:10:20","date_gmt":"2023-08-02T16:10:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wpdev01.mdek12.org\/compliance\/?page_id=6"},"modified":"2024-06-04T19:26:32","modified_gmt":"2024-06-04T19:26:32","slug":"compliance","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wpdev01.mdek12.org\/compliance\/","title":{"rendered":"Compliance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Compliance staff develops and sustains a strong and consistent culture of statutory, regulatory, and ethical compliance throughout the agency.\u00a0<span lang=\"EN\" xml:lang=\"EN\">We ensure the integrity of agency contracts; conduct program office reviews to ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures as well as applicable state and federal laws and regulations; detect, address, and report allegations of misconduct;\u00a0monitor the\u00a0timely completion of corrective action plans resulting\u00a0from internal, state, and\/or federal audits; and ensure employees have the resources and training necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations. The Compliance Officer serves as the agency\u2019s Internal Control Administrator working with executive leadership and management to identify and mitigate risks identified by Internal Audit that could impact the internal control system.
