Renewing\/Reinstating Career Level Administrator License<\/strong><\/h4>\n

IMPORTANT NOTE\/NOTICE<\/strong><\/u>: This does NOT<\/strong> apply to an educator that holds a Non-Practicing<\/strong><\/u> Administrator endorsement OR an Entry-Level<\/strong><\/u> Administrator endorsement. If you are renewing a Non-Practicing<\/u><\/strong> Administrator license, please review the selection for Standard Teacher License Renewal<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Standard Career Level Administrator:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Option 1:<\/strong><\/u> Seventy (70) School Executive Management Institute (SEMI) credits<\/p>\n

Option 2:<\/strong><\/u>  Six (6) semester hours of coursework with a grade of “C” or higher<\/p>\n

Option 3:<\/strong><\/u> 35 SEMI credits AND<\/strong> Three (3) semester hours of coursework with a grade of “C” or higher<\/p>\n

Option 4:<\/strong><\/u> Completion of a specialist or doctoral degree in educational administration\/leadership<\/p>\n

Option 5:<\/strong><\/u> Official documentation of retirement from service in Mississippi public schools (Official letter shall be obtained from the Public Employees\u2019 Retirement System of Mississippi<\/u> by calling 1-800- 444-7377<\/u>). Documentation for use of this option shall only be submitted for renewal during the final year of the valid license. The official letter must bear a date that reflects the current year the documentation is submitted for licensure renewal.<\/p>\n

Option 6:<\/strong><\/u> Valid standard<\/strong> out-of-state license submitted for renewal during the final year of the valid standard Mississippi license.<\/p>\n
