  5. Approval to begin the Administrative Procedures Act process:  To revise the Mississippi Extended Curriculum Frameworks (Office of Instructional Enhancement & Internal Operations)

Approval to contract with Team Leaders to provide consultative services relative to the Continuous Program Improvement Monitoring Process in accordance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act 2004 and State Board Policy 7219 (Office of Instructional Enhancement & Internal Operations)
  7. Approval to contract with Barbara Kastner to provide consultative services relative to serving as a screening team member for the Educable Child Program (Office of Instructional Enhancement & Internal Operations)

  9. Approval to award grants to three (3) service providers to provide on-site technical assistance to local school districts as a part of the Modified Mattie T.   10. Approval to contract with Hamilton Educational Services, LLC to provide consultative services to execute required Office of Federal Programs Cycle III monitoring(Office of Instructional Enhancement & Internal Operations)

Approval to begin the Administrative Procedures Act process:  To approve the proposal to add the Praxis II Principles of Learning and Teaching Early Childhood Test to current license 209 for Early Oral Intervention Birth – K as recommended by the Commission on Teacher and Administrator Education, Certification and Licensure and Development

  22. Approval to contract with C & B Enterprise, Inc. for the provision of security services on the campus of the Mississippi Schools for the Blind and the Deaf (Office of Quality Professionals & Special Schools)
  23. Approval of Brookhaven School District Interlocal Agreement to provide instructional services for the Mississippi School of the Arts during the 2012- 2013 school year (Office of Quality Professionals & Special Schools)

Approval of contract renewal with the Office of the Attorney General to provide the full-time equivalent of five full-time attorneys to perform legal services and one full-time administrative assistant to perform support services for legal staff for the State Board of Education for FY 2013 (subject to Attorney General’s approval) (Office of Educational Accountability)
