{"id":1078,"date":"2017-10-17T20:54:43","date_gmt":"2017-10-17T20:54:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wptest.mdek12.org\/testsite2\/maap\/"},"modified":"2024-09-21T01:04:50","modified_gmt":"2024-09-21T01:04:50","slug":"maap","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/wpdev01.mdek12.org\/studentassessment\/maap\/","title":{"rendered":"Mississippi Academic Assessment Program (MAAP)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Mississippi Academic Assessment Program (MAAP) is designed to measure student achievement in English Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics, Science, and US History.\u00a0\u00a0Students are assessed\u00a0in grades 3 through 8 in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics, grades 5 and 8 Science, Algebra I, Biology I, English\u00a0II, and US History.\u00a0 The results of all MAAP assessments provide information to be used for the improvement of student achievement.<\/p>\n<p>ELA and Math assessments are based on the <em><strong>2016<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0<em><strong>Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Science assessments are based on the <strong><em>Mississippi 2010 Science Framework<\/em><\/strong> which is in its last year.\u00a0 Starting in 2018-2019, all Science assessments will be based on the <em><strong>2018 Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards for Science<\/strong><\/em>. Starting in 2019-2020, the U.S. History assessment will be based on the\u00a0<em><strong>2018 Mississippi College- and Career-Readiness Standards in the Social
